- Angel investors fund because they like you – this is a bigger reason than the strength of the business plan (NO…that doesn’t mean you can have a hopeless business plan)
- It’s a good idea if you can get good bloggers and journalists to cover your product launches…VCs will get in touch with you for funding instead of you going to VCs.
- Rules for naming: high recall, .com has to be available, international name (for global firms).

- Every morning if you wake up excited about an idea, then its an indication that you are getting passionate about the idea and its not just a passing thought.
- Have to believe in your gut instinct and don’t get bogged down by over analysis.
- See if your idea is a pain killer or vitamin.
- Whether to go for VC funding or not – one of the points to consider is what’s the kind of competition existing in the market that you want to enter.
- Hear what your customers have to say but use your judgment.
