2.0 has been around for sometime and it has changed the way business operate around the globe.
India has the difference that this could make(People are at least comfortable booking their tickets online now ), but will our people really absorb this medium and will this accepted like other channels(like TV) is a question that everybody is trying to answer. This is an interesting anlalysis by WindChimes on social media trends in India.
Even though the people who participated are below 35 and the study has been done only in the metros, we can safely extend the trend to other big and small cities. The study emphasizes the requirement of continuous engagement of the users to keep them interested.
So how many companies are actually doing this, how many of them know what tools to use. Its is important for us to educate them about the new media, develop proper ROI tools for them to understand and estimate.
Our yet to be launched product KeepATab is one of those tools which will help business to keep their potential customers engaged and discover the potential of this new medium.
